need opinions...

hi ladies..

well today was my due date and i feel at a loss right now..
i also got AF on sat so i am out another month.

my question is...

i was thinking about making an appt with my OB for a consult to discuss my fertility. i would make the appt for the end of next month... which would be 6 months of trying..

do you thiink that this is a good idea?
i know the possibility of seeing an RE in my case is after a 2nd tri loss.. 6 months of trying..

I think it's definitely a good idea to see a doctor - if for no other reason than to get it on record that you were asking questions. They may tell you to come back in 6 months, but I don't think it hurts to have a consultation. They can start with some tests for you - mine did a progesterone test and I'm waiting for results on my CD3 FSH/LH/estradiol and thyroid. DH also had an SA which turned up low morphology. My doctor said we'll talk about how to proceed after we get my results.

ITA with this...after 6 months, I think that it's a good idea to make the appt. when you feel ready to go...if nothing else, perhaps you'll get some peace of mind from the knowledge that you're being proactive.

I'm sure the doctor can provide you will some suggestions/ a game plan for the next couple months.

i made an appt... i explained my situation to the receptionist... she said sure , you should see him!

so i guess thats good.. i am ready .
i actually had an appt tomorrow that i cancelled because i wasnt ready... but i made it for the end of next month.. so im glad i am going now
