i had a doctor's visit on friday and told him I planned on jumping back into TTC fully.

I'm leaving on vaca on Oct 4th.
i was thinking of trying this weekend, he said he had no problem with me starting before going away. But that I should watch the alcohol while on vaca.

I would only be 10DPO when I come home.

I planned on starting, but hadn't planned on skipping alcohol during the Two week wait while on vaca prior to speaking with him. Am I terrible ?

Should I just wait ?

if it was me... with the doctor saying watch the alchohol... i would still drink on my vacation... socially and not going overboard.. i understand about why he might have said that ...because you are TTC...BUT its not like you would be PG.. and if you were,, you would start to implant 6-10DPO... so its the tail end of your vaca.

but this is my opinion !!

If it were me, I would TTC, and also go on my vacation and drink all the pina coladas, margaritas, and everything else I wanted to.
You can't live your life "as if" you are pregnant, even if you're not.
I think its good to "watch," but not inhibit yourself entirely.

I went on vacation while I was ovulating. I drank & enjoyed myself & it turns out we conceived on that trip (while drunk I'm sure ), and so far all looks great. I was told that it's really too early on to do much damage.

I say if you want to try, go ahead, but still allow yourself to enjoy your vacation. If it doesn't happen, you don't want to look back & regret not having the best time possible on your vaca.

I would still drink on vacation, a few drinks is not going to make a difference...I wouldn't get boxed everyday though. (not that you were planning to!

I wouldn't drink.....I'm not going to post a long winded response as to why because I will probably get flamed as I did last week for my responseon this.

I think you should base your decision on what your practitioner recomends and what you are comfortable with!
