Is anyone adopting because they're an adoptee?

I definitely plan to adopt. I wanted to even before I knew I was adopted. I think it's such a gift.

I'm nowhere near ready to adopt, but I will probably lurk, if you don't mind. This is all good info!

I am not adopting because I am adopted..but it is great to have an adopted person's prespective for the board.

Definitely great to have an adoptee's perspective on here. I was not adopted, but always felt compelled to adopt. It was not until I had infertility issues that I moved foward with it though. Thanks for posting!
