Did any of you take methotrexate?

I just posted on IF- I took the shots a few weeks ago.
I have what I think is a bad cold- it started earlier this week and has gotten progressively worse. I kept being told I wasn't allowed to take anything except tylenol- but today the nurse told me it should be out of my system and I can take anything at this point.
Not trying to question her- but I'm nervous... I dont' want to take something and have some side effects or anything. WWYD? Any thoughts? TIA!
