sunflowerdmsrn	My first 2 prenancies ended in miscarriage. I thought my world was coming to an end. I never thought I would get pregnant. Then finally I had my DS the best thing that had ever happened to me. They say 3 times the charm and they were right. TTC is the hardest time in a womans life. I got so obsessed with it. I would read every book or article regarding how to get pregnant. I had bought so many pregnancy tests and ovulation kits that I should have had stock in them. I timed everything. I did the pillow under the butt after sex and stayed in bed for a least a 1/2 hour. My DH thought I was nuts but I wouldn't stop until it happened. Problem was because I was so stressed about it made it harder to get pregnant. Now I am pregnant again and this time I was not trying. Its the best surprise. I will never forget the two I lost. I think about them on the day in which they were due. I fear everyday about miscarrying again. I will fear until the baby is born. If I would have known that 2 years of unproected sex would not get me pregnant, I never would have gone on birth control in the first place! Message edited 9/17/2008 4:57:51 PM. Personally, I think it was stress related. I worked in the ICU at the time. I had a horrible night there. I left so late and was crying that morning because of what a bad shift I had. I went to sleep and woke up bleeding. Second one they said it was a chromosome abnormality. Trisomy 16 which is what most mc's are from. I went to see a specialist because after having two I wanted to know what was going on. They told me at first they don't usually look into it until you have three misses. Well, I was not waiting to have it happen again. I was also told that 50% of all pregnancies end in mc. So I guess that is why having a baby is such a miracle. I have been on progesterone this pregnancy and my last one. Who knows if it makes a difference but anything helps. To all you ladies. Posted 9/18/08 3:59 PM
