You will send in your paperwork to the Federal Gov't. Then after your homestudy is complete you get a notice from the gov't with a fingerprint appt. You just go with the forms and your license. It is a VERY quick and easy process. Posted 2/8/06 9:17 PM |

My best friend who is on the same steps as you guys just got her letter for her finger print appt. they go on Feb 14th!! Her homestudy was dec. 27th. Posted 2/9/06 10:11 AM |

When you fill out your fingerprint paperwork I believe it is called the I-600a form. After your fingerprints are done and you get approval from the government, they send you a I-171 form. That form goes to you, your agency as well as the US embassy in China. It took us about 2 weeks from when we got our fingerprints done until we got the I-171 but that time varies....I heard some people waiting months and others only days. Posted 2/9/06 12:30 PM |
