Let's Introduce Ourselves...

Hi, I'm Lauren.

I have two stepsons, 1 is 15 and the other is 11. They've been in my life for 7 years!

I'm Stef.
Custodial stepmom to two teenage girls, OSD16 and YSD 14.

DH and I were married in '06 and have one DD, 12 weeks old.

I'm Christine. I have two stepsons, almost 9 and 11. DH and I have a beautiful baby together who is almost 16 months.

My stepsons live with their mom, but we have them every other weekend and Tuesday and Thursday nights for a few hours.

They love their baby brother and he loves them! They just can't get enough of each other!!

Things for the most part are really great, but we do, of course, have obstacles to overcome now and them.



I am SO happy to have this board!!!

I have four stepchildren, 3 of which live with us full time..ss 12, sd 10, sd 8 and sd who lives with her grandparents is 15. what a wild rollercoaster we are all on...woo hooo

eta: too many rules for sd who is 15 to live with us. she would rather be on the fly and that doesn't fly with us..

Hi, I'm jaimie and my dh and I are married since Oct. '04 and I have a beautiful sd who is 14 1/2 and I love her like she is my own although her mother has put us through he!! and back.

We have no children together although we had tried.

Hi! I'm Karen, and I have a 10-year old SD. My husband and I also have a 2-year old son.

I'm Karen - I have a 15 month old daughter with my DH of nearly 5 years & we have sole custody of his two daughters, age 22 & 17. They are great girls, I have been in their life for almost 9 years now & we all get along very well.

I've been with my DH over 8 years. I have a 21 year old son, I was never married. My DH has a 14 year old daughter that he has joint custody of, she resides mostly with her Mom.
We've been to hell and back with the "blended family" thing. Somehow, some way I just stopped stressing about it. I don't worry or obsess over things like I did. DH & his ex are back on civil speaking terms after a few years of every conversation turning into a fight.
She's remarried, had another child & has too much on her plate to care about what we are doing anymore.
We all sat together at SDs last dance recital, that was a major first.
I raised my son for 13 years with no child support, on my own & being a stepmother and a second wife is ten times harder.

DH and I were married this past June 20th, No children together yet.

1 SS 14 (he will be 15 next week)
1 SD 13 (going on 21)

We have Joint Custody of the steps and they are with us every other weekend.
