Any good pesto sauce recipes?

For those of you who buy it pre-made in a jar, what brand do you recommend?

I dont make my own but I use a combo of powdered mix and jared. Knorrs makes a GREAT creamy pesto sause. You need olive oil and milk to make it. I prepare the package mix, but eliminating some of the oil it calls for. Then I take a jar of prepared pesto, pout some of the oil out, add the jar to the mix I prepared. I also add a can of diced tomatoes to the sauce. YUMMY!!

I make my own pesto sauce, its so YUMMY!!!

Lots of basil
garlic
parmesan cheese
olive oil
almonds (bowl about 10 or more almonds for a few minutes, peel the skin off) -secret ingredient we use =)
a dash of pepper

Add almonds to blender - chop first then
Put basil, lots of olive oil, garlic, cheese - chop until smooth - add some pepper and chop again

Believe me you can't mess it up - its delicious! But be prepared to have lots of basil and oil.

lots of fresh basil, a couple cloves of garlic, parm. cheese and pine nuts - all in the food processor. Drizzle in olive oil as you blend.
