How far does a pool have to be from the property line?

Does anyone know? Above ground in Brookhaven if that matters, don't know if different towns have different rules.

I can't seem to get the answer online or on the phone.

I think that its 5 feet....the closest my pool is to my fence line on any side it 5 feet.

For Brookhaven, it has to be 15 feet. I had some dude from Town Hall mark it up on our survey.

That's it!?! That would be great! I was thinking a lot more than that.

Does the zone matter. I heard that zones within towns can have varying rules on this. I don't know if that's true though.

Mine was 10 feet, and had to have the electrical line changed too! cost big bucks to do that!!!!
