Sperm Analysis???

Where do you start with this...I am due for my annual soon...do I talk to my ob/gyn then..or can i call now for a refferal....or does DH primary doctor deal with this???help please

My OBGYN referred us to a Urologist to do it.

did you wait for an appoinment or did you call on the phone and ask for a refferal???

I got it in an appt. but I was going in every two weeks at the time for bloodwork.

my husband had to get a referral from his General Practition.

We're starting to think about this, err, rather my DH. I still think it's too early to do it since we have only been TTC for 4 months. HOw long have you TTC?

They say give it a year. But, if it's covered under your insurance, why not?

we are only going into our fourth month...but i would just feel better having this done...i guess i will tell dh to call his doctor and ask him...this is actually only our second month that we will use OPK's...I am going to fib a bit a say we have been trying longer

My GYN referred me to a lab that does this. They have a room set up and when he is done, he just walked it down the hall to the lab (or if we lived close, do it at home and get it there within 1 hour)
