scrapbook pages

I'm new to this, so please forgive my ignorance.

I'm trying to insert new pages into my scrapbook. It has buckle-type things at the back. Now the new pages aren't even with the originals (they stick out a bit)

What am I doing wrong??? TIA!!

the new pages you got maybe slightly bigger....thanks Scrapbook industry for not making everything the same size!!

some pages are TRUE 12x12 and others are 11.75x11.75 but try and pass for 12x12. They used to sell paper like that also.

do you have layouts in the page prtectors already? If so, did you have to cut any of the pages to make them fit? or are do they fit perfectly well?

it could also be a different company made the new pages you are trying to put in, thats why they arent fitting properly.

Well, the cover said 12x12 and they look exactly like the book's originals.

The last page of the book has a plastic thingy, and it's only when I added the new pages that they're uneven. If I could remove the plastic thing (which I can't) they'd be even.
