I'm listening to my first one ever - The Lovely Bones. Probably not the best selection, kind of depressing driving around listening to how a child gets murdered! Chat Icon And I just realized it is 11.75 hours long!!! Chat Icon Does anyone ever listen to these?

I listen to them all the time. I started doing it a lot when I had a 1 hour commute. Now it's only 1/2 hour but I still like to b/c it's sometimes just more intersting then just listening to the radio. I actually think the time seems to go surprisingly quick. I'm sometimes really sad that it's over so soon.

Good to know - I'll keep listening. I took another one out of the library too, I think its a little more upbeat! Chat Icon

I used to work in Data Entry and we were allowed head sets and we ALL listened to them, we'd switch back and forth. Could finish a book in 2-3 days.

When I used to commute into the city I would listen to them. Lovely Bones is a realy great story, but it is kind of Sad.

I suggest listening to something a little more up beart. Have you ever read The Secret Life of Bee's? By Susan Monk Kidd... it is a short book, so I am sure it wont be too long to listen too. It is such a nice little story.

It's on my summer reading list! I took out Babyville by Jane Green to listen to next. Hopefully that goes a little better. Chat Icon

I heard several of the Nicholas Sparks books and a couple of the Danielle Steele. I love listening to books while driving.
