*Just Curious*--- how long after your BFP...

When did you call the Dr.?

When was your first appt?

I called the same day I got my BFP - my appointment was a few weeks later - I was almost 7 weeks prego.

My period wasn't even due yet when I tested +, so I waited until I was officially late--maybe like a week later. I didn't actually go to the first visit until 8 weeks exactly.

I got BFP on a Monday night and called the Dr the next morning. AF was already a week late and I was almost 6 weeks. I didn't see the Dr until 8 weeks.

Stupid question-- when you get your BFP... are you considered 2 weeks along??

I called right away, i was so excited. They actually gave me a blood test and could not tell me right away how far along I was since I couldn't remeber my last period. They had me come back at 6 weeks for a follow up

I called my Dr right away, and he had me come in two weeks later. He considered me to be 5 weeks at that point.

I got my BFP on a Sunday. I called my doc the next day, Monday. The secretary told me that they don't usually see patients until they're at least 7 weeks along. I told her that I wanted to come in right away to confirm the pregnancy with a blood test. She said fine and made me an appointment for that Thursday. I was almost 5 weeks at that point. My following appointment after that was at 8 weeks where my doc did the first sonogram to make sure the baby had a heartbeat and he/she was growing on schedule.

I lucked out and had a scheduled appointment with my dr. the following week. So I patiently waited.

9 weeks

Well they sent me for a pee test first because I needed to confirm it to get a referral and then my first OB appointment was at 6.5 weeks which was perfect because we got a sono and were lucky enough to see and hear a heartbeat!

I called the day after I got a BFP...my first appointment I was 8 weeks.

I called 2 days after my bfp, and saw the doctor at 6 weeks.

Called right away and had an apt two weeks later.

I got my BFP on a Friday night, I called my specialist (RE) and they brought me in Saturday morning to confirm and my first OB was March 3 ( I was about 8 weeks)

I got BFP on a Wed and Thur, called the DR on Thur and made an appt for about 3 weeks later when I'd be about 7 1/2 weeks.

I got an appt for the week immediately after I got my BFP. He wanted to start me on prenatals asap.

I went to the doctor 3 days after I found out I was PG. I was not supposed to be able to have children because of a hormone problem I had all of my life, so they monitored me very closely. I called my doc right after I got a BFP
