I was just wondering if you are covered by insurance and for what exactly - I just started a new job and am anxious to see what they provide. Posted 5/11/05 11:00 AM |

Uchenna & Joyce were both unemployed. Part of their story was that one worked for Enron and the other for Arthur Anderson. That is why they ran out of $$. Def. check with your insurance company. They may cover most of it!! Posted 5/11/05 11:14 AM |

Mine covers IUI and Artificial Insemination. They do not cover In-Vitro...DH's company just switched insurance and both companies had the same policy. BTW, we had Vytra and now have Empire. Posted 5/11/05 11:40 AM |

My insurance covers diagnosis and treatment up to and including 6 IUI's but no IVF's. Posted 5/11/05 4:41 PM |

My insurance now does not cover IVF. It covers IUI but that does nothing for me (wy past that point). Posted 5/11/05 5:31 PM |

Lisa, Ask your doctor to write down that you are getting IUI. If insurance is not paying for IVF will they really have any idea? I don't know its a little sneaky but those drugs get expensive! Posted 6/8/05 10:42 AM |

My insurance covered nothing. DH's covered everything. when we started TTC, I dropped my coverage and went on his plan. Lucky for me because I'm now in my second cycle of IVF and everthing has been covered! Posted 6/8/05 11:37 AM |

Yes, my drugs cost over $5000!!! PLUS the IVF Unfortunately, I had one tube removed and one cauterized so an IUI would be totally useless for me. And since the insurance co paid for the surgery, they would catch that... No easy way out for me Posted 6/8/05 1:59 PM |

My insurance covers all basic testing. If it comes down to more specific stuff and invitro then I only get covered $10k - period - a lifetime coverage. Kind of stinks. But at least they are covering all my tests for now (blood work, exams, HSG, biopsy) Posted 6/8/05 2:17 PM |
