Avon Walk for the cure

Is anyone planning on doing the 2 day breast cancer walk? Its on October 4-5th. I'm asking aruond and I can't find too many people interested in forming a team. Anyone here do it or looking for others for a team?

I was all set to do it in 2001, but they ended up changing the original date because of the 9/11 attacks, and I couldn't do the actual walk on the new weekend so I just mailed in the money.

I would love to give it another shot. I'm just worried about raising the money. I don't know if I would be able to raise $1800.

Where are you located?

I've never done one before. The $1800 seems like a lot, thats why I was hoping to get involved early, more time to hit people up for donations! I'm in Bayside, queens... Maybe enough people would be interested and we could have an LIF team!
