Was the dermo shampoo Nizoral? If not, try that. Posted 1/24/08 2:05 PM |

Before washing try massaging the scalp with Jojoba Oil or a tiny amount of olive oil Posted 1/24/08 7:33 PM |

I know you are pregnant (congratulated you on your recent good news!) and was told by my gyno and derm to stay away from the coal tar and other medicated shampoos. I am 17 weeks and my scalp is so dry and flaky. I have been applying baby and olive oil just to moisten it. Someone recommended tea tree oil and I just bought that so I will let you know how it works. I feel your dry scalp pain!!! Posted 1/24/08 7:57 PM |

Loreal makes a product that is applied to the scalp, but for the life of me I can't remember the name. Posted 1/24/08 8:18 PM |

I found my bottle of the Loreal stuff I mentioned in my previous post. I'm not sure if its sold in stores (my SIL used to work for Loreal). It's called Nature's Therapy (its part of the Loreal classic salon products). Scalp Relief for dry, tight scalp. Posted 1/26/08 10:39 AM |

UPDATE: My derm said to avoid the tea tree oil for dry scalp while pregnant in addition to the medicated shampoos. Posted 1/29/08 9:29 PM |
