I walk 2 miles at lunchtime with a friend from work. Sometimes I walk an extra 1.5 miles in the evening with Danielle. Posted 5/11/05 10:52 AM |

my DH and I go to the gym 3-4 nights a week. I go a combo of cardio and weight training...some nights more cardio than others. Posted 5/11/05 11:23 AM |

Yup, but it's probably not what you'd want to do. It's not a beginner's workout. Posted 5/11/05 11:35 AM |

I try to run four or five days a week and maybe throw a bike ride or something in somewhere. Posted 5/11/05 11:36 AM |

dh and i go to the gym 3 times a week. we do cardio for 30 mins on the weekdays, plus either arm or leg weights. on the weekend day we do 40-45 mins of cardio and both arm and leg weights. of course this will all be changing soon as we are going to be training for the nyc marathon! I weight train for 30 min. then do 4 miles on treadmill, mixing it up between running, walking and jogging. Posted 5/11/05 8:58 PM |

I do a lot of different things, but mainly I do your typical body part split: chest/biceps, back/triceps, legs, shoulders. There are different training techniques that I do, like right now I'm doing drop sets. Start with heavy weights, heavy enough where the 10th rep is really hard. Then drop the weight down to a slightly lower weight and do 12 reps. Drop the weight once more and do 15 reps (this is all after doing one warm-up set). You can do drop sets with just about any body part. Then I do about 30 minutes of cardio, doing intervals on one of the machines. Oh and then abs and stretching

I found I need someone to push me kinda like a personal trainer or someone to work along side me. Posted 5/12/05 10:00 AM |

Try Oprah's boot camp...I think it's on her web site. I started about a month ago and definitely feel and se the difference. I also think she is discussing it today on her show. Posted 5/12/05 12:15 PM |

I know that feeling. Friends of mine did great when they went to the gym together, but my skinny husband, is grossed out by gyms & doesn't really excercise. We try to bike, but only goes a few times a month ( and not yet this year) Do you have a neighbor or someone who could be a workout buddy? Posted 5/12/05 12:18 PM |

Honestly, my work out is chasing 2 year olds around all day. I love taking them outside because they love ball and soccer. Posted 5/21/05 8:16 AM |
