Pass the tissues please. THis story was beautiful. COngrats on your delivery. She is adorable. It is truly amazing that the same OB that delivered you delivered her. Congrats again. Im a nurse and I feel i should apologize for all the nurses actions. as a manager i tell them day after day.. you hear that bell you should respond as if your mom or father is in there waiting on you. No since of urgency. I dont work at huntington though. Im glad your birthing expierence was a positive memory though. Congrats!!

I am sorry to hear you had such a bad experience at Huntington Hosp - I had my c- section there, tried inducing overnight (even though it turned out I really wasn't a good candidate either) and they were so overcrowded I stayed pretty much in the utility closet made into a room, and they were still wonderful - they had more births that week than they ever did, and I found they always responded quickly to me. I didn't like how they would wake me up in the middle of the night - loudly - and when I complained, they changed even that!

I'm surprised - I rave about HH all the time!! I wonder if they had different people on call?

Oh well - so glad everything went well and you have your magnificent little girl!!!
