I'm sure this post is way too late, but in addtion to creating custom faux finishes and murals for walls, furniture, etc., I also create handpainted glassware which I incorporate into baskets. A few years' back I had a store in Bellport, called Something Different, and it quickly grew via word of mouth due to my unique gift baskets featuring handpainted items -- wine glasses, cheese shakers, oil/vinegar sets, salt & pepper sets, votive holders, pitchers, cake plates, trifle bowls, candy dishes, vases, candles, etc. People used to bring me their own glassware, furniture, etc., and I would customize it to their taste as well. I also did a ton of unique "diaper cakes". Posted 1/31/08 10:00 AM |
