What can I use instead of cornstarch or flour?

I'm making sesame chicken and it says I need cornstarch but I don't have that and I couldn't find it at the supermarket.
Is there something else that I can use?

i thinkthey usually have it in the <a style='text-decoration: none; border-bottom: 3px double;' href="http://www.serverlogic3.com/lm/rtl3.asp?si=22&k=cake%20box" onmouseover="window.status='cake box'; return true;" onmouseout="window.status=''; return true;">cake box</a>/flour aisle.....i have used flour already mixed with water to help get out the lumps!, otherwise I am not sure!
