Why do small dogs wear clothes???

Just seems weird to me, I don't get it...

and fun

but also, b/c a lot of the small breeds actually NEED clothes...

chihuahuas have a higher internal temp (about 105 degrees).. so even at temps of 60 degrees outside they are cold and will shiver.

I have to put a coat or sweater on Larry David during the winter or he shakes the entire walk. He's only 12.5 lbs so there's not a whole lotta meat there to keep him warm.

Besides, it's so funny to see a dog in an outfit. I saw a tshirt that I wanted to get LD (but it was ridiculously overpriced) that said

B!tches Heart Me!

Plus the big dog clothes cost too much!

Why Not?

not to mention, in the winter alot of the smaller breeds NEED clothing, it would be inhumane if they didnt have clothes on...
Also i have a hairless dog, so i think that makes it obvious why she NEEDS clothes.

But its just cute. I don't dress up my boy becuase he would pee on the clothes and he doesnt like to dress up,l but the girls usually have clothes on.
ESPECIALLY when they are going for a trip or having company.... they have to look their best!

i always had big dogs. when we got charlotte, she was our first small dog. and our first day with her, we were at petsmart and bought her a sweatshirt, a raincoat and a fleece. she was so cute. but again, she is small and in the cold weather, she needed the extra padding.
