Atkins Induction Help!!

Ladies - I am desperate and want to do it to kick start some weight loss. WW isn't really working for me right now and I need to be really controlled.
How hard is this??
Also, why can't you eat diet cheese in induction?
Thanks!

Any hints, advice, etc would be greatly appreciated!

I don't know about Atkins but you can eat cheese on the South beach diet, maybe that would be better for you?

I've done South Beach in the past and before the wedding it worked for me, after it didn't!!
I think I need something super strict right now to jump start things and then I may even go back to SBD!

i did atkins last week and without exercising i lost about 6 lbs.. i wanted to make sure i fit into my wedding dress.. and the honeymoon is in Italy so there was no way i was doing no carb- i'll restart once i get back.

with that said, i did eat cheese. i bought 0 carb parmesan cheese and used that and also found <1 carb mozzerella cheese and would snack on that. i think i did pretty well.

It didn't say you couldn't have cheese - it said that you couldn't have diet cheese - that's what I was questioning...

low fat cheese has more carbs then regular cheese....actually most things labeled low fat have more carbs.

ETA....to reply to your other questions. I have been LC'ing off & on since right after christmas and lost about 25 pounds -- it would probably be a lot more if I stayed on program the whole time...i had a few long weekends away & several celebrations where I ate what ever I wanted.

But the first 2 - 3 weeks I lost about 10 pounds.

For me, it's not 'that' hard to follow. It's easier if I plan my meals ahead...breakfast is usually dannon's low carb yogurt or some cheese, lunch would be left over dinner, hot dogs or tuna salad, dinner is anything...grilled chicken, pork chops, a hamburger, steak etc with a salad.

LMK, if you have any questions Chat Icon

Just started induction again yesterday!

I had celery and ranch dressing for breakfast, a salad with grilled chicken for lunch and sauteed broccoli and seseme teriyaki chicken for dinner!

Wish me luck!
