I didn't know that jobs besides teachers could have a tenure track. I saw a job posting that said tenure track (not teaching).... Does anybody know about this that could explain it to me? Posted 11/5/05 6:51 PM |

Hey Julie, My job is tenure-track. After I think 5 years in a union job where I work, I think four or five people are asked to recommend you for tenure. It's basically the same type of protection as teachers and professors have, but for administrative positions as well in at least some state environments. FM if you have any more questions.
