Does anyone work in a marketing department?

If so, what are the titles in your department? We only have 3 peoples & our titles are sort of haphazard. I have requested a change, but I want to see if what I am thikning of makes sense.

We have a Marketing Coordinator & a Marketing Supervisor who report to the director of Sales & Marketing. Marketing Supervisor is the one I thik should be changed. I was wonderign who is usually directly under the Director of marketing.

Asiistant director? Associate director?

then of course all the Directors, Vice Presidents, etc ...

These are all the positions that you could be at my last job. We didn't have anything like Asst. Director or anything like that. You went from Manager to a Director.

I was in marketing/fundraising for a nonprofit and the titles were:

2 Marketing Managers
Annual Giving/Giving Society Manager
Marketing Coordinator
Marketing Associate
Membership Marketing VP
