Anyone want a cat? Even for just 4-6 weeks?

My dad is moving in with his GF(not a smart move on her part but I digress), she isn't allowed cats. There is a 4-6 week waiting period for the Smithtown Shelter. Why he can't find another shelter, I don't know, again I digress.

Anyway, its a really dark grey or black cat. About 2 years old. Dad says he does tricks- like a dog.

If it's only for 4-6weeks isn't it possible to sneak the cat in your dad's gf's apt since its only for a short pd of time?

can't they look around at more shelters, like Northshore..which tends to have a waiting list too, but is no kill at least?
What about family?

I wish I could, but we already have 3 and we dont have enough room for another.
