Yankees take the first

Hey at least we know they are going to do better than last year's trip to Shea.

Let's hope they do as well for the next two, I was teasing one of my students (die hard Met fan and Yankee hater) and he'll never let me forget it if they lose!!!!

I've already started tormenting FH

I was there, and let me just say for the record I am SOOOOOOOO THRILLED our boys won!! (it was not easy being a Yankee fan in the upper deck of Shea Stadium .. I was truly outnumbered!)

The game wasn't pretty - too many errors and we left FAR too many men on base! BUT a win is a win, I am just so happy for that!
