Thank you! I did ok today. I ate ok, not great but I did alright. And I turned down cake at my office. Plus DH and I went for a nice 30 min. walk. It wasn't an intense walk but it's a start. Tomorrow night I'm going to do some arm weights. Posted 5/31/05 10:50 PM |

So true. I had a big chocolate cookie and a cappucino yesterday (it wasn't my cheat day, by the way ) and I felt so crappy afterward.Trying to get back on the wagon, but it's so hard to get started...been eating well pretty much throughout the day (except for the cookie & capp!) but I haven't been planning well enough to eat 5 or 6 times during the day, so I'm only having breakfast, lunch and dinner. Excellent start! Remember the goal for each day is to not strive for perfection but rather strive for progress! Keep it up! Posted 6/1/05 7:13 AM |

When I did BFL the first time I did a workout every free day and gave myself off on Fridays. I know that's not what he suggests. But I liked working out on the day that I ate whatever I wanted. It helped me a lot. Posted 6/2/05 8:31 PM |

Do you think nuts and fruit are a good snack? I have a hard time finding proteins that aren't meat. I don't really care for cottage cheese, unfortunately. Posted 6/6/05 11:43 AM |

You can do a piece of low-fat cheese with an apple... Posted 6/6/05 11:51 AM |

or some tuna and wasa crackers. Posted 6/6/05 11:03 PM |

What do you guys eat for breakfast each day? I really don't care too much for eggs and I can't do cottage cheese. So I'm having a hard time getting protein in. I'm going to pick up some protein powder to put in my oatmeal but I don't want to do that everyday. Posted 6/7/05 9:45 PM |

Jenn- The only think I eat every morning is a cup of yogurt. Then two hours later I eat a body for life bar (ok its actually a zone bar because I think they taste better and the nutritional value is about the same) Posted 6/8/05 6:58 PM |
