In a strange way I am glad they lost NOW rather than have the streak going into the weekend
This way, the pressure is off a bit AND we will go in there and kick some Mets booty

you're right, predictions mean nothing and i think you are just as strong as well.
like i said, given the matchups, we are CAPABLE of taking 2 out of 3. What happens on the field may be a different story.

We are so not going anywhere with our pitching staff. This is not our year either...nope sorry...we have a new team yes, and we're better than last year but we are so not making the playoffs or anything else with this pitching staff. At this rate we're lucky if we finish the season with a decent record...

We certainly do need another star pitcher. Pedro cannot do it alone. We can't expect him to carry this team. He did his thing on sunday, and the Mets blew it for him....the pitching staff seriously needs to get their act together.....and hernandez in my opinion is becoming the next benitez...he makes me sweat bullets when he comes in...

You sound exactly like my Dh .. he goes CRAZY when he sees the Mets bringing Hernandez into the game. HE did blow the game for the MEts on Sunday .. as well as the game on Friday
The Mets have a very tough division to compete in - the Braves are playing oustanding. But I think they will be a success nonetheless this year, even if they don't make it to the post season. Willie is doing a great job IMO.

He's making me as nervous as benitez did...geesh!!!
The braves play outstanding but then choke in the playoffs...same old same old with them. Willie is doing a great job, his pitchers (with the exception of Pedro) need to get their act together...
