Sausage is one of my favorites at a BBQ! Last time I brought a chicken and sundried tomato sausage ring.

I BBQ alot - usually I make the staples: like Hamburgers and Hotdogs. Then I'll throw in another 2 things for a variety like: BBQ Ribs or Shishkebobs or Chicken or Sausage or Steak sandwiches (the really thin steaks - like at feast)

For sides I always buy a potato salad. I make a pasta salad and a regular tossed salad. Sometimes instead of a tossed salad I make a mozzarella and tomato salad. I'll put on some baked beans, sauerkraut, sauteed onions (if making steak/sausage).

If it's a small crowd I put corn on the cob on the bbq. It's delicious.

Another great thing for after dinner is a fruit salad.

Good luck! Let us know what you decide on the menu!

I had a BBQ last night.
Whole foods has really delish pre marinated shishkabobs and satays... I got those and they were really good- but a little pricey.

We also did boneless/skinless chicken thighs- those were REALLY great and they all went.

i have the easiest guacamole recipe. you'll need avacadoes, red onions, cherry tomatoes, lemon juice, garlic, fresh cilantro and salt and pepper.

cut the tomatoes in half, maybe even quarters if they are plump. dice the onions, mince the clove of garlic, chop the cilantro and cube the avacado. i do the avacado last b/c it browns when exposed to air, so then i add a couple of tablespoons of lemon juice to prevent that. then i add salt and pepper. the proportion i use is 2 avacado to half onion, one garlic clove, 1/2 container of tomatoes. i then just mix. it is sooooooooooooooo good. dh loves it on his burgers!!!!!!!!!
