It will do a lot....provided you are also watching your diet. I used to walk 2 miles a day (along with doing WW) and I lost about 20 lbs and toned up! It was great and I really enjoyed it. Posted 5/18/05 4:11 PM |

I think you'll see results, your legs and but will get toned up. But you have to walk fast. Posted 5/19/05 12:08 PM |

It worked for me before my wedding - I just wish I could get motivated to do it again Posted 5/19/05 12:57 PM |

I'm bad with estimating distance - if you walk 45 minutes 5-6x a week, what would that add up to mile wise? Posted 5/19/05 4:07 PM |

I am doing it now...Been doing it for the past 2 months, and I started WW 2 weeks ago....I walk 2 miles plus a day. Posted 5/20/05 9:06 AM |

I feel with WW that happens with me too! I am glad it is making you feel better.

I love walking. You should get a pedometer to see how much your walking. I walk twice a day most days, 4miles at lunch and 5 miles after work. Four miles takes me about an hour and five miles is a little over an hour. I started walking after work in October and lost 6 pounds w/o watching my diet. Then about a month and 1/2 ago we started walking at lunch time. I have no idea if I lost anymore, but I'm sure I did. I really can't say enough good things about walking. It helps physically and mentally becase I have a walking buddy and we get to talk about anything and everything. Posted 5/24/05 9:42 AM |
