I liked Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer (not sure if that is spelled right.) He was an outdoor magazine writer who went on a Mount Everest trip that went horribly wrong. The weather turned on them as they were climbing the peak and he barely made it out alive. I think most guys would like it and I thought it was well written and riveting. It doesn't have a happy ending, but is a great story. My husband and I both like most of the John Irving books too (World According to Garp, Cider House Rules, etc.) Posted 9/19/05 12:18 PM |

We ended up getting, Running with Sissors...but I ended up reading it and giving him the Robyn Notes version. He is starting his own firm and has no time to read now! Posted 10/17/05 3:06 PM |
