I had a hard time learning to read patterns at first. But, after my mother showed me how to read one I was able to read them all! Have you read ones that have a key to the abbreviations?

I can't figure out the patterns either. I don't even try anymore.

With my baby coming I'd love to crochet more things though, some different stuff.

I'm thinking of going to AC Moore. I know that on certain days of the week they have a lady there who sits in the yarn area and you bring in your projects and she helps you with them. This is in the Levittown AC Moore on Hempstead Tpke but I'm not sure if other ones do it as well. You might want to look into the free craft classes at AC Moore, Joann Fabrics and Michael's Crafts.

I have read patterns with a "lingo" chart...I still don't get it! It's too confusing! LOL

I tried my local Rag Shop...they stopped doing classes Chat Icon
