hi! i'm a speech teacher in an elementary school. i have a group of 3rd grade resource room students who i see for language therapy. their teacher asked me to help them with their spelling words for this week... any creative ideas??? i have the wipe off sentence strips, and i've been using those- putting barriers up between the kids, giving them a word to spell, they each write it on the sentence strip. whoever spells it correctly earns a "chip". They can use a stick and draw the words in the sand. Posted 1/8/07 8:36 PM |

Songs always work well. I'm a foreign language teacher and I'm always making up songs for words they have to remember. Posted 1/9/07 4:18 PM |
