i feel like my prinicpal is going to give me hard time tomorrow

when i tell her i have to take the day friday to close on my new house. she frowns upon anyone takign off before a 3 day weekend. there is no way for me to even take a half a day.......

This exact same thing happened to me.
I put in for a personal day before a three day weekend. We are contractually not allowed to do that (although ultimately it is up to Superintendent). She denied it, so I called in sick. I was closing on my house as well.. there was nothing I could do.
Good luck, and just remember what an important and exciting day it will be, even if you have to go through some grief....

What is wrong with these administrators?? SO sorry you guys had to go through that.

dont worry! What can you do? your buying a house! Principals must understand that your people not just teachers!
