I teach 2nd grade in Suffolk. I taught 6th grade in the same district. i've been with my district for 8 years. I also taught 2nd grade for 3 years in Astoria and 1 year at a Montessori school when I first graduated. So if my math is correct I'm in my 12th year teaching.

Hi I'm Marissa and I'm a Pre-School teacher for one of the University Child Care Centers!! I teach 4 and 5 year olds their ABCs and 123s!! I love my job and this year I have such a great class I have been in Early Childhood for a long time!!

I am one of the many unemployed teachers. I have a special ed and general ed degree as well as a literacy ed degree. I have taught pre-k before and hated it. I love the older grades (3-6). If I don't get a job by next year we will have to move out of state unfortunatly...

I am am elementary special ed teacher for mentally retarded students in brooklyn at a private school 12:1:1 but am looking for a position in a public school...either nyc or li.....keep me in mind!!!

p.s. I'm certified in both general ed and special ed and have my masters in special ed.
