Has anyone stayed at Beaches Turks and Caicos?

DH and I were thinking of going there for a few days for our 1st anniversary. We really wanted to go for our honeymoon, but since it is a family resort, we weren't sure.

Does anyone have any reviews? Thanks

I have heard incredible things about Turks & Caicos. It is quite remote, but beautiful.

I went to turks and caicos last year and LOVED it...its gorgeous there ! i stayed at the Sands at Grace Bay...The rooms are like condos on the beach...You can get a studio, 1 bedroom, or 2 bedroom...We got a studio and it had a little kitchenette....I have never been to the Beaches resort, but have heard mixed reviews on it...

My boss did and LOVED it but they have 2 pre-teen boys. Is Sandals the same price?

It is a sandals resort.
It is there most expensive property

Thanks for your responses. We only wanted to stay at Beaches b/c we have points to use and will get a free night or two.

I'm thinking maybe we should just wait and go to Turks next year, and stay at one of the nicer hotels.

We really want to go to the island, but I guess I would want to make sure it is worth our money. The reviews I've seen on Beaches aren't so great.
