I heard there's a charity that takes formal dresses and gives them to girls who can't afford a prom dress. Does anyone know what the organization is called? Posted 12/18/06 1:32 PM |

I've donated my old dresses in the past. They do it in early April usually. I can't remember the name, but they have a few drop of locations. If I remember I'll post it. Posted 12/19/06 1:28 AM |

Last year I volunteered collecting dresses for the Prom Boutique and I know we are doing it again this year. Dates haven't been announced yet, but it is usually in April when they collect. And last year they had 2 dates one at Nassau Colliseum and another at a church for girls to get dresses. As soon as I find out the date, I will post it. Posted 1/3/07 8:57 AM |

I think that is what it is called. It has Friendly's and Jani's in the same strip mall. Posted 3/9/07 10:11 AM |
