Has anyone ever stayed near the wineries? Do you know of any good places to stay? DH and I always go as a day trip but we are thinking about making an overnight one this summer. Thanks. Posted 5/16/05 9:45 AM |

Best Western East End was really nice. I stayed there for my bachelorette party and we did a bunch of wineries. Posted 5/16/05 10:03 AM |

Thanks. Is that the one in Riverhead? I was hoping to stay further out east (Greenport area) but that is definitly an option. Posted 5/16/05 10:13 AM |

There are some newer hotels in Greenport. The Greenporter was redone a couple of years ago and they just opened Harborfront which looks very nice. Should the Shady Lady reopen, that is a fabulous place to stay. Here is a link to look stuff up Posted 5/16/05 10:43 AM |

There are some cute B&B's in Greenport - we stayed in one years ago...something with "Lion" in it. Posted 5/16/05 10:46 AM |

We stayed at a great B&B out east - Blue Iris. Highly recommend it! Posted 5/16/05 11:38 AM |
