I'm reading Sunshine by Robin McKinley. I love it. It is so well constructed and well written. She uses the overplayed vampire lore genre - but twists it in all the right places. The characters are really developing nicely, the descriptions are vivid and the plot (so far) is engaging.

Was this any good? A friend of mine who has similar taste hated it, so I never picked it up. Just curious if I missed anything good.
