What a great book that was...I am now going to have to read all her books!

Little-J-Mommy

Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer.

I'm breezing through this. It's weird though. The book is basically written in 2 voices. The parts about the kid are great, but I find the other half tough to get through.

Anyone else read this?

Just finished 19 minutes by Jodi Picoult. I thought it was very good but I am a Picoult fan.

Also just revisited mary Higgins Clark and read Two Little Girls in Blue. Funny because I LOVED MHC when I was younger, haven't read one of her books in about 10 yrs and I thought the writing was horrible. Funny how tastes can change.

I read it!!

I found it to be really interesting, but I know what you mean about the other voice. I could have lived without the pictures in it though. That really disturbed me. It didn't help that I read it in late August.

I finished it and really liked it. I guess the 2 voices makes sense in the end. I know what you mean about the pics!!

I just started "love is a mix tape"

I finished "Paula Spencer" by Roddy Doyle a last week. He wrote The Commitments. It was gritty but definitely left an impression.

I then read O My Stars by Lorna Landvick, which was okay, not my favorite of hers.

I just started "The Penny Tree" by Holly Kennedy and I'm really enjoying that.
