Augusten Burroughs' Dry

That was our book club book this month! I loved it. I thought he really went deeper than in Running With Scissors. Enjoy!

I did! It was a quick read and I agree, he definitely delved deeper with this one than RWS. I really felt for him - especially with the dynamics between him and Pighead Chat Icon

The Space Between Us by Thrity Umrigar

From Amazon: The Space Between Us, Thrity Umrigar's poignant novel about a wealthy woman and her downtrodden servant, offers a revealing look at class and gender roles in modern day Bombay. Alternatively told through the eyes of Sera, a Parsi widow whose pregnant daughter and son-in-law share her elegant home, and Bhima, the elderly housekeeper who must support her orphaned granddaughter, Umrigar does an admirable job of creating two sympathetic characters whose bond goes far deeper than that of employer and employee. ........

Really?! Wicked is one of my favorite books. Interesting.

It's been a slow read for me - I'm only 114 pgs into it and am hoping it continues to pick up.
