What are you reading right now??

I just finished A Northern Light by Jennifer Donnelly. It's YA historical fiction and it's set around the case that led to An American Tragedy by Theordore Dreiser. A young man drowned his pregnant girlfriend in 1906 because he had his eye on another girl who would give him wealth and status.

It was very good- and even though it's young adult fic I think adults who appreciate good historical fiction would like it.

I just started A Death in Belmont by Sebastian Junger.

Full of Grace

I just started "The Kite Runner."

Just finished Bee Season - It started off really great, then I think the plot just started getting a little convoluted. Just watched the movie and I think the movie was better than the book.

I'm also trying to finish a biography of Marie Antoinette that I started over a year ago - I want to finish it before the Sofia Coppola film about her comes out - but I'm going so slowly!

"Something Borrowed" ... I couldn't put it down!! ... just a few more chapter to go.. I am tempted to go hide in the bethroom at work, sit on the toilet and finish this book!
