Did you howl when you read what he said to the elevator chick about wearing the Harvard shirt? Anyone else want this book when I am done? Barbara asked me to pass it on to someone else

I am ashamed to say I just finished Night by Elie Wiesel. Why ashamed? Because I should have read it years ago, but I am glad I read it now. Message edited 7/2/2006 9:29:50 PM. Posted 7/2/06 9:29 PM |

That was a tough read- I had to read it in grad school and feel like I should re-read it. I just finished Nickel and Dimed: On (Not) Getting by In America by Barbara Ehrenreich. She's a journalist who tried living on minimum wage jobs. Very eye-opening. It was written in 2000 so it was kind of dated, but I am glad I read it. Not sure what I will read next.
