Michal, I LOVED this book! I want to read Angela's Ashes now, for some reason I was never that interested in it but I love the way he writes.
I just got her latest Is Anybody Out There- can't wait to read it! Right now I am working on Manhattan, When I was Young by Mary Cantwell. Really interesting memoir about living in Greenwich Village in the 1950s and 60s. Posted 6/18/06 2:57 PM |

Reading "A Widow's Walk" by Marian Fontana. Her husband was a NYC firefighter who died on Sept 11th. She is also the president of the 9/11 Widow's and Victims Organization. A very sad, touching, and well-written book. Posted 6/24/06 10:25 PM |
