Looking good and staying fit, we’ve found, go hand in hand. In fact, maintaining a good weight is a one way to help your body stay healthy.

One way to dress, and “undress,” with confidence and success is by eating like your little ones: and no, that doesn’t just mean perfecting portion control.

Gourmet gurus have taught us that sneaking “healthy stuff” in kids’ favorites is a smart way to get them to eat healthy. Well, it seems as if this “sneaky” strategy works for adults, as well.

Recent research reveals that 25 percent of adults who added pureed veggies in tasty traditional tidbits such as carrot bread, or added squash and cauliflower to mac and cheese, were able to reduce their calorie intake by 360 calories a day. This is because the added veggies are responsible for making servings less calorie dense.

The Skinny On Staying Slim: Most of us start to crave health, and figure, sabotaging snacks around 3:23, according to new studies. It’s the time of day when most of us let our guard down in favor of something fattening. Experts suggest curbing cravings by stashing some good-for-you snacks in your car, desk, office fridge, etc. Think fruit, nuts or crispy crudités as a naturally, healthy alternative.
