It seems at times that the saying “what goes around comes back around” was not written about karma, but rather about fashion trends and scenes. When it comes to those fashion trends that you just refuse to let go, you don’t have to! Stick your polyester jumpsuit in the closet next to your hammer pants, because you know that they’ll have another day in the sun.

When it comes to one of this fall’s reoccurring fashion trends, however, you will never see it coming: literally. For the fall 2011, it seems that the new print of choice is reminiscent of that old hand-me-down surplus jacket that you wore in middle school. That’s right; camouflage is back in the spotlight.

But before you head the nearest army navy store, I want to mention that this new trend has taken over the whole industry, and you’ll have to look no further than your nearest Tanger Outlets!

Designers have taken camouflage prints of every shade and applied it to their newest lines of sunglasses, handbags and lightweight dresses. For your guy there is everything from digital camo sneaks to gray and black cargo pants and green camo ties.

This new “militant” trend doesn’t just include that telltale camouflaged pattern; this fall’s hottest outer wear is the military style jacket. Made of the same retro canvas of old, today’s military style jackets are for fashion and warmth; available in full, ¾ and short sleeved fashions for whatever the temperature may be.

If you want to blend in with your surroundings, or stand out in a crowd, this fall’s camouflaged digs maybe just what you’re looking for.
