Women have lots of sexy features, and the mane is among the main ones. In fact, whether your man like short or long locks, hair can either be a turn on or turn off. And, we all know what a bad hair day can do for our image and our ego.

And, whether you’re like me, whose not very handy with a blow dryer and hairbrush, or if you’re a styling sensation, there are certain don’ts that apply to us all.

· Don’t develop a signature hairstyle: Sure having your own style sets you apart in a crowd, but if you stick to the same style for too long, can actually “age” you by “dating” you. Consider updating your look to a more timely style and giving yourself a fresh new face and a fresh new start.

· Don’t be a “mama’s girl”: It use to be that gals got a certain cut/look after marriage, baby, and past a certain point/age in their life. But, now those rules have changed. In fact, more and more modern moms, wives, and even grandmas are sporting sexy silhouettes and hairstyles. So, while you “do” want to cut back on a “too youthful” style, you don’t want to cut out your sex appeal.

· Replacing chic with convenient: Sure its easy to simply “set” your hair or get a super short maintenance-free cut. But, is that really the best look for you? Or are you compromising? If you answered “no” to the first question and “yes” to the second, you may want to rethink your decision.

· Be well-balanced about your style: While “drastic times may call for drastic measures”, going to extremes may be counter-productive to the look you’re trying to achieve. Instead, opt for a happy medium that isn’t too light, too dark, too long, or too short.

· Don’t let your style get dull and boring: With age and processing hair tends to become damaged, dry, and dull. So, remember to add a little extra shine for a lot of extra sex appeal.

· Get Layered: Regardless of length, layers give a much more youthful appearance by softening features and framing the face.

· Learn that less is more: Naturally sexy hair is neither over-processed nor over-styled. In fact too much styling can make you look older or reveal your real age.

· Learn to love your hair: Whether you have pin-straight tresses or curs galore, embrace your locks and learn to work with them, rather than trying to fight against them.

· Get the best bangs for your buck Bangs that are too big/long or bi-level can definitely date you.

· Maintain your individuality: Do not try to replicate your child’s or teen’s hair or match their hair colour. Stick to your own style and that alone will make you look more sexy and sophisticated.
