In fact, olive oil has gain so much notoriety in recent years, that it’s replaced butter as the standard “spread” for breads.

The best kind of olive oil according to experts is First Cold Pressed versions, most of which can be flavour enhances by infusing into them some very “sexy’ and healthy spices. And, infusing household oil is easier than most think.

· Step One: Pick some of your favourite ingredients. Experts suggest looking on your spice shelf past the garlic and thinking about other options such as oregano, basil, peppercorn etc.

· Step Two: Add the spices and the oil to a specially picked out contatiner/glass carafe.

· Step three: Bring a pot of water to a gentle simmer and place the glass carafe with the oil inside. Let it simmer for about 5-minutes allowing the spices to slowly and gently infuse into the oil.
