Looking “hot” in the summer heat can mean, leaving many of us losing our cool. But, knowing how turn up the heat on your summer style can keep you sizzling all season long.

· Make your look right with a sexy sarong: When it comes to cute cover ups, nothing says sophistication like a sarong, taking your from beach to boardwalk to beach-side club scene.

· Make sure your makeup is 100-proof: 100% waterproof that is. And, look for varieties that are natural, light, and oil-free with a built-in sunscreen.

· Opt for eye-style: High style can be achieved with a sexy pair of shades. Oversized glasses are all the rage and can help give you extra protection for the sun’s harmful rays.

· Beach keen bags: Ditch your purse for a haute summer tote. This beachin’ item is great for surfside or shopping at the mall.

· Become a golden girl: Add a hint of bronzer to your forehead, cheeks, nose and chin, to enhance your glow. Use a shade that’s one or two darker than your natural skin.

· Walk the walk: Invest in a sexy but comfortable pair of summer sandals embellished with stones and crystals rather than traditional flip-flops, for a more serious, sophisticated look, in or out of the office.

· Flower power: Select a scent with a hint of floral essence. Just make sure its not too overpowering since the warm weather can make smells seen stronger.

· Tie one on: Tying hair in a scrunchy is the best way to avoid frizzy, flyaway hair. Experts suggest a high ponytail slicked back with some pomade, then teasing out the ponytail with a wide tooth comb.
