Biking is a great way to get and stay fit, even if you’re cycling indoors. But, if you haven’t put your pedals to the medal lately it may all seem like a downhill battle.

But, according to experts, it can easily turn into an uphill experience and pretty much with “minimum” effort. The key is keeping it short and sweet, at least when it comes to metabolism stimulating sprints. Experts suggest engaging in short intervals of intense exercise for 30 seconds increasing your pedal speed, then slowing your face for four or five minutes then bringing it back up again. In fact, they say this method is as effective and an hour and a half of moderate biking.
